I recently had dinner here on New Year's Eve and absolutely loved the ambiance! It feels classy, but not too uptight. It was busy, but didn't feel too loud or crowded and the service was great! We started with the whitefish spread which was absolutely delicious and the bread with it was a great addition to the plate. We split a seafood tower between the three of us for dinner. It was lovely, but could've used some more dips/sauces for the various components. It was not terribly filling, so if you're looking for a lighter option this would be perfect! I will say the prices are a little steep for what they are offering.
Awesome food service. We were late to our reservation by almost 30 mins but host was nice enough to get us a seat. Everything we tried was fresh and tasty.. I visited this place after almost 5 years and quality and service remain same
Excellent service, our server Alex was friendly and attentive. The space is really beautiful. The cocktails were great and I loved the wine selection. The tuna ceviche with shrimp chips starter was a small portion but tasty. The scallops were delicious but 3 scallops for $49 is absurd. My friend had the fish and chips which were terrific, upscale pub style, and also a huge portion. All of the desserts were incredible, despite my cheesecake looking more like an art project than dessert. The zeppoles were *chefs kiss*. Overall, I think GT is worth the visit: the food is great, the restaurant is beautiful, and the service is above par. I just hope they figure out who they are as a restaurant and what they want to be conceptually. Down to earth classics like the fish and chips that are so good you'll start singing God Save the Queen (RIP ER) or overwrought dishes like the scallops that require a slice of pizza to be had after the dinner.
One of the best meals I've had in a while- nothing was left behind! We ordered to share family style, and it did not disappoint. Every dish was flavorful by itself yet complemented well together. The service was very attentive, and we never felt rushed. The prices are on the higher end, but an overall great experience.
I had the best seafood i've ever had in the midwest at this joint. The service was perfect. The atmosphere was perfect. I loved it.
